London Marathon 2022
Campaign by Hospiscare (RCN 297798)
On 2 October 2022, #TeamHospiscare will be putting their best foot forward, as they take part in one of the worlds most iconic races the London Marathon! Why? All to help raise vital funds for local Devon charity, Hospiscare!

Story

If you live in Exeter, Mid or East Devon, Hospiscare is your local adult hospice charity. Should you or a loved one need care for any type of terminal illness, our professional team of doctors and nurses are here to help. Our services are provided irrespective of race, religion, age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, diagnosis or place of national origin.

I am not brave enough to do a skydive, and to be able to raise a lot of money for hospiscare I know I would need to do something very special indeed, and as I enjoy running I thought I would like to do the London marathon. I know I have a lot of work to do, as I have never run more than 10 miles in one go, so I would really need to focus on training, but knowing that I would be doing it for such a good charity that has really helped friends and family members (past, present and future) through the hardest times of their lives will give me the grit and determination to help me raise as much money as I possibly can to help this great charity continue its hard work.
