Thames Valley Air Ambulance is the only provider of advanced critical care within Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Every day, someone in our community could be in urgent need of our service.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My daughter Selina (4) & her friend Esme (4) are doing a sponsored 10km (20 laps) of our estate to raise money for Thames Valley Air Ambulance, the girls wanted to do this after hearing about the urgent appeal for donations.

It costs £3,325 to send the air ambulance on each mission which is why this is our target, last year they were called out 2,670 times to help people in need of urgent critical care & are called out on average of 7 times a day. TVAA are an independent charity & receive no government or national lottery funding, they rely solely on donations from the public.

Selina has a rare chromosomal disorder where one of her chromosomes are tripled which has lead to developmental delays which nearly saw her not being able to walk but she overcome that challenge and is ready for this one, the girls both have severe Hypermobility and autism so this is going to be a huge challenge and achievement for them both being only 4 years old too but they are so determined to raise as much money as possible to help others get help when it’s needed.

The event will take place on Saturday 18th July and the girls will be dressing as paramedics.
