Story
Hi. I'm Colin Antink. I am a disabled lad with a pretty rare genetic condition which affects the sight. hearing and joints. In short my body has a few design faults!!
I am going to stage a solo mobility scooter run. With the scooter decked out with flags and balloons..........and playing the theme tune from 'Crazy frog'!! I will be doing as many laps of Wokingham town and Wokingham without as possible between 16th / 23rd. September; so...........LOOK OUT FOR 'THE ANNOYING THING'!!!!
All this is being done to raise funds for the Thames Hospice charity, as we have all lost someone we love and having worked in the Hospice shop I have seen that all funds collected actually do reach the charity to provide not only physical comfort but support for the emotional wellbeing of people within their care, and really do aim to make the last days easier for our loved ones.
I cannot run marathons, do walks or sponsored cycle trips, but I don't intend to let that stop me!
I shall be wearing a ridiculous frog costume and generally be making a racket... please watch out for me and pop a coin in my collection box or give a donation to this just giving page. No matter how small, it is all very much appreciated.
We all may need the Hospice one day. Thankyou. for full information on Thames Hospice please go to www.thameshospice.org.uk
