Wheels are now in motion!!

Cycle For Cancer has now been launched and we are proud to be supporting Daniel Cann, Jake Best, Clinton Burberry and Mark Hines on their massive challenge.

The lads will embark from Lands End on their journey to John O Groats which will emcompass:

1000 miles
Across 17 counties
In 7 days!

They will look to amass an average of 140 miles per day in order to complete the ride for Football For Cancer who has come to their attention through Dan’s involvement in last year’s FFC Bournemouth football event.

Dan was impressed with the fantastic work done locally by FFC in raising money to support families affected by cancer so he has taken it upon himself to create this event and build and mastermind the process from start to finish.

On discussing the challenge, Dan said:

”We have all been affected by cancer in one way shape or form and it’s nerve racking thinking how hard this challenge will be, but knowing whatever funds we raise will be going to help people less fortunate and unable to complete a mammoth challenge like this is the only driving force we need.

Seeing all the great work that all at FFC do along with giving us a support vehicle for the ride to carry our kit, will also help carry me through many difficult miles”.

The team will be keeping you updated with their training in the build up to this event and are also planning on running a live feed of the challenge as it happens. They will also update a live tracker so people can keep up to date with their progress.
