I am raising money for Crohn's & Colitis UK. My Nan, Beryl Holloway, suffered alot throughout her life with her Crohn's diagnosis, which eventually took her life. It's something that runs in our family, myself being diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis aged 17. I was extremely ill for 12 months before I finally got listened to and referred to a Gastroenterologist. I was being sick, passing alot of blood numerous times throughout the day and lost my appetite. I had no energy to even climb the stairs at times. 24 years later and I now have Total Pancolitis, meaning my whole Large Bowel is now affected. My medicine is working for me at the moment, but I still suffer alot with Fatigue and bouts of IBS, along with anxiety, depression, joint problems, a weakened immune system, Barratts Oesophagus and issues around food. I feel I've got off lightly compared to what others have been through with Bowel Disease. 

Please help me raise much needed funds towards research and patient care. 

I will be removing my dreadlocks, loc by loc, over the next 4-5 weeks. I will record my removal using time-lapse, as it is a long process. Eventually, when they are all out, I will share my new look. This is a BIG undertaking for me, I have had my dreadlocks for 9 years now, they are a big part of me and my identity, but it's time for a change. I might keep a few of the last ones at the nape of my neck.
