Story
Heather Muriel Masek - 1944- 2021
Sadly we said goodbye to my mother Heather on Tuesday 26th February. Her passing was peaceful but unexpected with Mike and I by her side, listening to her favourite classical music.
Her passing was not Covid or COPD related, she suffered from internal bleeding caused by an intestinal infection. She was ready to be free and told me so in her last few days, she wasn't scared and wanted to be free from suffering.
My life will never be the same without her and I am truly heartbroken. Our little family loved her dearly and we will try to keep her memory alive with her grandchildren. She is part of us all.
We are asking her family and friends if you would like to donate to this cause in her memory, instead of flowers. Heather's eldest brother Alistair suffered for many years with multiple sclerosis, therefore this was a cause very close to her heart.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service and Burial at Church of the Holy Rood, Ampney Crucis at 2pm on Friday 19th February. If you would like to attend and haven't spoken to Andrea already please let her know: 07946 391798 due to Covid restrictions
Thank you for your generosity.
