We sadly lost our beautiful daughter at 6 days old due to complications during labour. Although she is no longer with us we want her to be remembered and for something good to come of her short life.

I went into labour thinking I was having a perfectly healthy baby but sadly this wasn't the case. There were complications during labour which meant she was starved of oxygen and although she fought for 6 days the effects of this meant she couldn't pull through 

Although we only got 6 days with her we are so lucky to have had that time and cannot thank the neonatol intensive care unit (NICU) for keeping her here with us as long as they could and allowing us to make memories that we will cherish forever. What these nurses and doctors did for us was beyond anything I could have imagined. They were the ones who kept us going when we didn't know how, they were a shoulder to cry on, they were the answers to our questions and the ones to provide us with all we needed to make wonderful memories with our baby. 

I can never thank them enough for how they cared for my daughter and I know that Isla Rose has touched many lives with her story and people would like to help. We would ask for you to donate to this so we can help support other families who sadly have to go through this. We will be setting up an Isla Rose fund that will help NICU continue what they do and support others. I hope to continue to raise money throughout the years so you may hear our story again in the future.

She is my angel who will always look over me and give me strength to carry on. I only wish you could have met her yourself to know truly how special she was.
