Back in 2012, I decided to try start raising money in memory of my friends son who sadly died at a very early age. I promised myself that each year, I would try to spend some of my personal time to raise money for children who need that extra support.
Over that 6 years, we have cycled and walked miles upon mile in all kinds of weather. But as well as having lots of fun along the way, we have managed to raise over £54,000 which is amazing. This is due to people digging deep into their pockets and supporting amazing charities.
After the success of Santas Jingle All The Way in 2016 and 2017, we have decided to do it all again in 2018.
So ladies, gents, boys and girls welcome to Santas Jingle All The Way III.
Santas Jingle All The Way III will be a sponsored walk of approx 15 miles going from Chorley to the top of Rivington Pike and back to Chorley dressed in Santa Outfits.
The aim is that we will have a fun filled day, with lots of Ho Ho Ho's, lots of Jingles from all the Santas taking part.
We will be raising money for Derian House again this year and wiil be raising as much money as possible, but one of the main objectives is to get as many people as possible involved and to have fun all the way to the top and back again.
It is great to see people helping make a difference, SO GET OUT OF BED and GET DRESSED IN RED and be the one that MAKES A DIFFERENCE.
I am sure anyone who has taken part previously, will agree that everyone enjoys the day whatever the challenge has been and more importantly whatever the weather brings.
