In March 2007 I was out on a bike ride around Swinley Forest with Rob, Steven (brother) and Amanda (mum).  Great fun.  Then Rob got sick. 6 months later Rob had died from a rare cancer at the age of 15. There was no research in the UK. Rob changed that.  He wanted to set up a charity to help others with his condition and that's what he did.  His mum has continued this and is a great support to others with this disease - emotionally and raising the funds to help with research.  We love her and want to help.

We will be unemployed bike bums making our way off road from Banff in Canada to the Mexico boarder with a tent!  This is our self funded challenge.

We never forget that Amanda has the challenge every day to live without her son but she continues to raise funds to help prevent this happening to others.
