This last year has been quite a journey for me.  I have gone from 'couch potato' to 'marathon runner' in a year!  Currently 4 stone lighter and a lot healthier, I have taken up the challenge of completing the Dublin Marathon.  In memory of my mum, Audrey, I want to raise much needed life-saving funds for the charity, Kidney Care UK, and to do this, I need your help.

My mum was the proud recipient of a kidney in 1994 and this gift made an incredible and lasting difference to her life after being on dialysis for a period of time.  She was always so grateful for the kindness of her donor family and regularly told me that if I ever took up the challenge of a marathon, I had to run it to support Kidney Patients.
