As part of my 50th birthday celebrations I decided to take part in a challenge to raise some money for a good cause. The event I chose is a banger rally through Europe to Venice, 8 Countries in 5 days! If the car is still going after Venice we will continue infinitley.... The maximim budget for the car is £500 and the rally comprises of various challenges and competitions along the way. Oh and just to liven it up a bit we are going with a Toy Story theme. (Nelson and Lisa to Venice and Beyond) We will be blogging our progress on facebook so keep an eye out. The very worthwhile cause we have chosen to fundraise for is the Devon Air Ambulance, they are the charitable trust which raises the funds to keep two emergency air ambulances flying in and around the county of Devon. Flying seven days a week, one of the aircraft now flies until 2am.In 2018 it cost £7.5 million to keep the service operational, with every penny coming from the generosity of the communities, businesses and friends of Devon.Thank you for your support - it really does help to save lives!
