Story
I am going to Uganda in September 2019 for two weeks and will be helping in various community projects including building 3 classrooms.
Kumi is in one of the poorest regions in one of the poorest countries in the world. Following the HIV/AIDs pandemic, Kumi was left with a generation of orphans. Almost half of Kumi's population are children under 15 and they are all desperate for education. Schools are bursting at the seams and in need of desperate refurbishment.
If you can donate anything it would be greatly appreciated. A little here goes a very long way in Uganda. Maybe you could skip a coffee or cake this week, and donate the money instead. Perhaps you could save all your small change this month and donate that.
No amount is too small (or too big!) so please don't be shy. Every little bit helps. Look at the photo below to see how far your money can go.
I will pay most (if not all) of the contribution required myself. So most (if not all) of your donations will go directly to the Kumi project.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. If you want to know more about Kumi or what I will be doing, please visit the website: https://missiondirect.org/country/uganda-kumi/
