Story

My name is Sam, I am 8 years old and I have found lockdown stressful sometimes.

I feel sad for all the people suffering from COVID-19 but the Doctors and Nursers are doing a great job. I had a little accident in the garden the other day and had to go to A&E and the Doctors and Nurses were so amazing. They were all wearing face masks and working so hard so I want to say thank you.

**NHS staff and volunteers are doing amazing work right now in caring for COVID-19 patients.Together, let's show our respect and gratitude as they work tirelessly in the face of the virus. It's our turn to make sure we look after them, to ensure they can keep doing their vital work.**

Please help me achieve my target of £150 - that's £1 per kilometre I am aiming to run over the next 30 days. I will do one run in the morning and one in the afternoon. Maybe I'll manage 5km in one go soon

Thanks

Sam
