Our son Alex was born with heart disease. He is nearly 2 years old. Alex had major heart surgery when he was born and is due another big heart operation soon. We spend a lot of time at the Evelina hospital. Due to having a poorly heart Alex has other issues, some include feeding, lung and airway problems. Despite this he is our little miracle and fights hard everyday. He always has a smile on his face and I'm so proud of how brave he is. 

We are doing a sponsored walk from Whitstable to Faversham (Approx 10-11 miles) followed by a bbq and raffle etc to raise money for the Evelina Children's Heart Organisation (ECHO). This will be on Saturday 23rd July 2016.

ECHO provides comprehensive support for children with heart conditions and their families. Alex was diagnosed with multiple heart issues before he was born and we were provided instantly with much needed support and advice. We can't thank them enough for being there at all times, night and day. 

We really want to raise money for ECHO to say thank you and give a little something back for everything they have done for us.
