We are Physiotherapists at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court
Hospice and are aiming to walk the Welsh Three Peaks to raise money to help support the work at the Hospice.

Leckhampton Court Hospice is the only specialist palliative
care unit in Gloucestershire which offers inpatient care, as well as Day
Hospice and Hospice at Home services.  The hospice aims to resolve complex physical or psychological symptoms for patients
as well as supporting their family, friends and carers.  As Physiotherapists we work closely with our Occupational Therapy colleagues to help patients to keep their independence and
live as full a life as possible.  For many patients and their families the hospice team acts as a safety net and offers support for whatever stage their illness may be at.

The Hospice is heavily reliant on donations to continue its work and we experience first-hand the difference this support makes to both
patients and their families who are facing very difficult circumstances. 

As busy wives and mothers our fitness is perhaps not what it
used to be so this will be an uphill challenge in more ways than one, not to mention our questionable navigational skills.  However, one thing that is certain is that it will be tackled with enthusiasm and a lot of laughter!
