Cycle to transform the lives of disabled children and adults through sport by supporting WheelPower, the national charity for Wheelchair Sport

Story

8-year-old Eva and her dad Steve are biking the 25k Tour de Vale on 11th June to raise money for WheelPower who help transform lives through movement, activity & sport.

Eva has never ridden this distance before, so we have begun preparing and training for both the distance and the road cycling. She is super excited about it. It’s already been a great experience to get outdoors again as we (hopefully) see the tail end of the April showers.

Whilst we raise funds for a highly worthy cause, getting out to the fresh air and enjoying bike rides is a wholesome and enjoyable exercise for all ages so I truly appreciate your support.

By donating to our fundraiser, you’ll be aiding the many lives that WheelPower supports, as well as encouraging 8-year-old Eva in support of her endeavour.

All donations of any size are gratefully received!  THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Why WheelPower?

I knew about WheelPower from when I went swimming with the “Cub
Scouts” at the Guttman Centre in Aylesbury back in the eighties.  I saw first-hand the amazing achievements
that WheelPower facilitated.

WheelPower provides aid, support, and encouragement for
those with unique life challenges, turning disabilities into extra-abilities.  For those with disabilities, WheelPower helps
make the difference between “recovery” and “life transformation”.
