On 7th March my beautiful grandson, Alan, died as a result of a severe asthma attack. He was 17years old with his whole life ahead of him. His mother, Miranda, the paramedic, ambulance crew and hospital doctors all tried very hard to safe him but it was not to be. Alan's family and friends are devasted by his loss. We would like to raise as much money as we can for research into the causes of asthma and to raise awareness that although for most people asthma is controlled there are the tragic instances as with Alan where the decline is so quick that they can not be saved.
