Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. The Wobbleberry Challenge is apparently for middle aged, wimpy riders to compete at a BE80 by autumn 2017, all to raise money for the wonderful Willberry Wonder Pony - inspired by Hannah Francis a 17 year old talented event rider who sadly lost her life to cancer in August 2016.

Although I hate to admit it, I fit their description. I'm 45 and have only EVER competed in 1 unaffiliated XC event. My partner in crime is as far from a dressage diva as you can get, has a dislike of SJ fillers and not really built for XC. He is very anxious, preferring to concentrate on where the tiger is hiding than on what I am asking of him. I'd like to say I'm the confident one, but after dislocating my hip jumping I'm far from it.

So why am I doing it? Because...twenty years from now I'll be more disappointed by the things that I didn’t do than by the ones I did do. So throw off the draw reins. Gallop away from the starter box. Catch the country winds in your hair. Prepare. Dream. Succeed.. – Mark Twain (slightly edited version)
