St Ann’s Hospice provides care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers in Greater Manchester. Through the generosity of our supporters, all our care is provided free of charge and makes a real difference to those who we support.

Story

I’m challenging myself to complete the full 9-mile Llanberis Path to the summit of Snowdon from the comfort of my 1 bedroom flat.

St Ann’s Hospice only receive a third of funding from the NHS which means we need to raise an additional £20,000 a day to keep our free services, our community and our outreach care provision going for local patients.

I’ve worked out that if I’m able to walk up and down my staircase 1,333 times, it will be equal to walking 20,000 steps, which is the same as walking the Llanberis Path all the way up and down again!

You can watch me complete my challenge on Facebook Live on Saturday 23rd May 2020 - a day that marks 13 years since my Grandad’s passing at St Ann’s Hospice. As a result, I’m aiming to raise £1,300 for my incredible workplace in his memory.
