Story

THE THIRTEEN - Paul Ross, David Morrison, Paul Osborne, Paul Brown, James Brown, Fraser Stirling, Wallace Sheddon, Robert Wells, Jamie Horne, Stephen O'Donnell, Gary Higgins, Peter Copland and Kenneth Doak

Thirteen distinguished wanderers, on 2nd of September, will set about conquering the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours.  The peaks; Snowdon, in Wales (1085m), Scafell Pike, in England (978m), Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m) aren’t a walk in the park on their own, but all three in 24 hours will be a test of their physical and mental stamina, this is definitely against the ordinary .

UNUSUAL PLACES TO ENJOY YOUR HENDRICK'S GIN

While we do espouse the virtues of a well equipped bar, we firmly believe that a bottle of Hendrick's can be put to good use in pretty any location one might find oneself. For example: at the bottom of the weary descent from each of the Three Peaks, not for the Thirteen but their walking confidants.

AN ACT OF UNCOMMON BRAVERY

Like legs and hosiery,

Like camembert with wine

When the world ponders gin

It imprisoned it with lime.

Yet an uncommon few

With heretic flavour on mind

Have fled convention

Towards something more sublime

Abandoning all citrus,

They’ve cast default choices asunder.

With true courage, they garnish

Their Hendrick’s with

CUCUMBER

Please give and drink responsibly...
