We organise disaster relief worldwide to be there for people in desperate need

Story

Well hello there, yes i'm talking to you! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit this page and hopefully make a donation, if you don't I will probably cry like a little girl who has had the hair of her favourite My Little Pony cut off (sorry painful memories, I was a strange little boy).

Nobody can help but be moved by the events that have recently occured in Haiti. The devastation and loss of life is intolerable, they are without even the very basic sanitation and care. The death toll has reached 150,000 and is still rising, people are needlessly dying, we can all help. Look out the window wherever you are and try to imagine the roads full with bodies, people you love, a neighbour, a friend; couple that with hunger and fear and thirst...this is what people are facing. You can't help but feel empathy for the total destruction of people's lives.

I think we've reached a cross-road in the society of the world. I think we are more connected than ever before, the world is coming together to support other countries more than it ever has and with climate change at the centre of everyone's mind there is a nagging feeling that these sorts of disasters could soon be affecting us all directly. Let Haiti be a symbol that we will all stand together as one, we may have gotten ourselves into this mess, but we will not be defeated (queue dramatic Independence Day music)...

We will not go quietly into the night!

We will not vanish without a fight!

                                                                              We're going to live on!

                                                                             We're going to survive!"

Let the silver lining of the dark cloud of the Haiti earthquake be that it unites us.

I have never been moved by anything much in my life, wandering directionless through most of it, having no particular calling or love...searching for that 'something more'. But this has moved me and others enough to put together the Funny Undie Run. Originally it was just me running around a dock in my pants, but it has now grown so that hundreds of people are now involved. Stripping off to save lives. So on February 19th at 12.30pm we will complete at least 3 laps of St Katharine docks near Tower Bridge in our best pulling pants, our sexiest lingerie, our spandex thongs, our lime green mankinis, or our biggest Bridget Jones panties and nothing else, it's going to be nippy!

Please help us out with whatever donation you can afford, a gift of even just £10 makes a difference; providing a family with a basic water kit. If you would also like to join the run please visit our facebook page 'Funny Undie Run for Haiti' for more info.

Be as cool as George Clooney and donate NOW.

Thank you.
