My story
Origin Adventures!
Headed to the Ladybower reservoir with the intention of doing their part for the cycle challenge.
We were assured (by Jon) that the route was an easy 15mile lap, which was “mostly flat”, turns out Jon’s idea of flat is not the same as other peoples, safe to say he won’t be putting up any shelves for me!
With the trip computer reset, we headed out.
At the end of the first lap the heavens opened and we got drenched, after a pit stop for a bite to eat (and to dry off) we headed back out to complete the challenge.
The second lap probably could not be broadcast on the TV before the water shed, not without a very powerful bleep machine!
However we stuck at it and completed the 2 lap (so much for it being a 15mile lap!!)
