As you are aware, this will be my second marathon and will again be raising cash for the University of Bristol Cancer Research Marathon Fund - I plan to raise at least £1,300.

This is a fantastic fund, supporting Bristol's up-and-coming researching stars in their quests to produce preliminary results that will enable them to gain larger project grants. Anyone involved in research will tell you that this is usually a make-or-break time of any young researchers' careers: please help us ensure that they receive all the support they can get.
