Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
This year Sean and I ran the Junior and Great North Run for The Variety Club.
We are, as far as The Variety Club is aware, the only people who ran the Great North Run to raise money for The Variety Club, so what we raise is all they will get!
As you possibly know, Ryan was born with Cerebral Palsy and The Variety Club have been so helpful to Ryan over the last few years. They have helped towards the cost of his electric wheelchair and funded for a hoist to be fitted into Ryan's new bedroom. The Variety Club have also been great at giving us advice on how to go about getting things done for Ryan, like having his new bedroom built!
Due to the fact that Ryan has been in plaster for the whole summer, he decided that I had to wear something almost as eye catching as his Plaster. Being Ryan he thought I had to dress up as his all time hero...... Dorothy from the wizard of Oz! Sean is got off lightly by wearing a Variety Club t-shirt.
Now you have stopped laughing pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese sponsor us!!!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us, Variety Club Children's Charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank You.
We're off to see the Wizard!!
Love Gail aka Dorothy.
