This is my first ever effort at raising money for a charity by running the British 10K run on 1 July 2007. I request you to be as generous as possible to support a cause that probably touches a chord within all of us.

I am raising money for a small children’s charity based in my hometown Bangalore - www.dreamadream.org. I have been a personal donor of this charity since the last few years and I hope I can encourage and inspire many others to support Dream A Dream through my run.

Dream A Dream is a professionally governed and managed Indian non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children from vulnerable backgrounds by developing life skills and at the same time sensitizing the community through active volunteering.

Dream A Dream works with over 500 children from vulnerable backgrounds and brings to them programmes in the area of sports, adventure programs, creative arts and craft, drama, computer training, civic awareness and mentoring among others. There are over a hundred thousand children living on the streets of Bangalore alone and I believe that together we can make a difference in a few of their lives.
