Lauren and Mia's friend, Georgina Anderson from Marske was diagnosed back in July with Liver cancer! On arrival at Newcastle RVI it was also evident that she has secondary cancer in her lungs... After being told the heart breaking news that the consultant was very unsure if they could treat her at all, she has been receiving treatment (chemo) unfortunately this hasn't been working and they are now trying another chemo used for more severe? and different cancer! Lolz and Mi have been trying to arrange a charity football match to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust who are looking after Georgina at NCL RVI... They have a team together, college kids girls and boys and originally wanted to play at the boro ground against a young team from there... Unfortunately due to costs and possibility of injuries it looks like that is unlikely to happen. However they do have full support from staff at Middlesbrough college to play on the astro turf! wondered if you oldies fancied coming out of retirement for a one off match? College kids v Dads!!! The Photo (attached) was taken today on 19th Oct, lauren and Mia both visited Georgina at Newcastle RVI, they both said she was in a jovial mood and was enjoying having a laugh and joke with the nurses, who at times didnt know how to take her jokes haha!

Sorry the page hasnt been updated lately, but here goes.......

Georgina and her parents were delivered the heart braking news that all treatment options have been exhausted and her cancer can be longer treated. However georgina remains upbeat and keeps smiling, as both my daughters have said never stops talking haha.

Between Georginas friends and family sharing and pushing very hard one of her songs as.....erm basically gone viral via Youtube reaching over 121,000+ views(at the point of me typing this) absolutely amazing!

A charity auction evening has been arranged for Georginas chosen charity, Teenage Cancer trust at the New Marske sports club on the 29th November, with lots of generous donations been donated, thanks to Middlesbrough Football Club, Inspire Hiardressing at Guisborough and many more (too many to type)

There will be a charity football match arranged but this has now been postponed to the new year in order to try and arrange more interest. This will probably arranged for January/February time. Middlesbrough Football club have already stated they will help where possible.

We would just like to thank all parties involved so far!

It is with deepest regrets to announce that Georgina lost her fight to cancer on the 14th November.

Sony records have published on of Georginas songs 'Two thirds of a piece" which can be purchased on Itunes and google play.
