This is my first London Marathon and to be fair i am more than a little bit nervous, please support me on this adventure and give generously to the MacMillan Cancer Support. 

My mother was recently diagnosed with cancer to the Bowel cancer that has spread to the Liver which as you can imagine was a real shock to me, my family and close friends, what was even more shocking was that within 7 days my mother in law was also diagnosed with cancer too!!!  I had always joked with my mother that i would love to do the London Marathon and figured that i would eat my words and make a lifetime dream into reality and make sure my mum would see me complete this once in a lifetime opportunity for me.

On contacting MacMillan and asking if i could be part of there marathon team so late into the golden bond process they did all they could to help me turn my dream into a reality and i can now proudly say that i am part of their team.

Macmillan have been great with my mum and were very quick to contact her to check how she was so i am gonna make them proud by completing this in their name.
