On May 16th Ian Warhurst and myself are planning to do the Joss Naylor Challenge.  This is a 48 mile fell run across the Lake District, starting at Pooley Bridge and finishing at Greendale Bridge in Wasdale.  In the process we'll climb 30 different summits, including some of the biggest in the Lakes.  As we're mere youngsters at 50 years old, we only have 12 hours to complete this run.

I have chosen to raise money for Leukaemia Research in memory of my lovely neice, Sophie, who died in 1998 aged just 7.  My amazing sister, Anne, stills works tirelessly raising funds for the organisation, so this is just me trying to do my little bit to help.
