Here is some more info on George written by his parents(http://www.georgeyeomansappeal.org):

On 23rd April 1998, our only child, George Yeomans was born at Chase Farm Hospital, Enfield. In June 2005 we were devastated when he was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma (a rare form of childhood cancer) at just 7 years old.

During the last 18 months, George has bravely undergone almost continuous rigorous treatment at Great Ormond Street Hospital, resulting in his final test results in December 2006 being clear, to our great joy. However, just 4 months later, our world has been torn apart again as sadly, the cancer has returned.

There is no treatment for recurrent Neuroblastoma in the UK, leaving us with no option but to seek treatment in the USA that is estimated to cost hundreds of thousands of pounds. We need to raise an initial deposit of £200,000 urgently in able to begin this life saving treatment as well as funds for the necessary costs (air fares, accommodation etc). Obviously, these funds are desperately needed to begin this essential treatment as soon as possible.

This is the reason for us, George’s parents, to write this letter in the hope that you, your friends, family and colleagues could kindly make a donation towards these costs, to help us give our beautiful, brave little boy a chance of survival. It is our only hope at this stage. George has been through SO much in the past 18 months and we dearly hope that you can help in some way. ANYTHING that you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.

George’s Appeal is being supported by The 2Simple Trust, a registered UK Charity, no (1113954). You can find details of George’s story on the appeal website www.georgeyeomansappeal.org where you can also make an online donation. George’s story is also featured on: www.jeansforgenes.com.

We thank you for taking the time to read this message. If you have any questions at all, or can help in any way, please contact Louise Burrows (George’s cousin) on: 07984 326 950 or email her at: samsredhouse@aol.com. You can also contact the 2Simple Trust direct on: 020 8732 3372

Thank you!
