Story
Georgia WOOD is 10 years old and has decided that she wants to raise some money for Dogs for the disabled.

Georgia has decided that she would very much like to raise money for Dogs for the disabled and is undertaking (with her Mum and Dad and Grandparents) to cycle from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediteranian Sea in France this summer.
This cycle ride is 450 miles and will be completed in twelve days.
Georgia will have to cycle between 22 and 37 miles a day in order to achieve this goal.
Georgia hoped that her bike ride could be like that of David Walliams.
David Walliams did a £1,000 000 bike ride, Georgia thought that she could do a £1,000 bike ride.
The bike ride will start on 19th July 2010.
Not only will Georgia be cycling everyday but will be pitching a tent every night and carrying all the things needed for the trip ie tents, clothing etc on her bike.

THE TRAINING HAS BEGUN.......
Training has now begun and the Woods have started to get out on their bikes. 10 miles was cycled across the fields from home. This was hard going.....!! :-)

16th July - cross to France very early in the morning.
17th July - Test Cycle ride from Chailles to Chaumont
18th July - Driving to start of cycle ride

19th July - Early start - drive to Bordeaux then cycle to Cadillac.

Oh exciting - staying in a hotel tonight as there is not a camp site without going miles and miles off route.

1st August - to the train station - put all the bikes onto the train and take the train back to Bordeaux and a well earned rest for Georgia Wood and her team!!!!!!
PHEW!!!!!! Lots of cycling and lots of pitching tents and camping and I sure a few glasses of the medicinal red stuff!!!! :-)
