Ty Hafan is a hopsice for children and young adults. It provides a life-line to many families and it is vitally important that it continues to provide comfort, care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families, helping them make the most of the time that they have left together. All Children at Ty Hafan are expected to die before their 19th birthday and it is hard for families, many of whom have more than one child with a similar condition.
Not only is Ty Hafan a home from home providing specialist palliative care, but it is also a much needed source of strength, respite and support for the whole family. From diagnosis to bereavement and beyond it takes its support right into the heart of the family home. Ty Hafan's services are completely free of charge for families in Wales that need them.
Just to tread water, Ty Hafan has to raise millions of pounds every year and inevitably that cost will rise. Your donation will help Ty Hafan continue to offer its unique services to families.
We have both fully funded the trip and all associated costs for this challenge and as such you can be assured that your money will be going directly to Ty Hafan.
