Adidas Women's 5k Challenge · 11 September 2011 ·

Encephalitis International is the only non-profit of any size anywhere in the world providing direct support and information to people affected by encephalitis (brain inflammation), raising awareness, and furthering our understanding of the condition through research.

Story

On Sunday 11th September 2011, I am taking part in the Adidas 5km run/walk at Hyde Park London.

My reason for taking part, is because on November 18th 2010, I lost a very special person, my Brother in law Bill Symonds passed away, He died from Encephelitis, which is an infection of the brain.

Bill played a big part in my life, he was more like my Dad, when ever My Mum was taken into hospital, Bill and Gerry would arrive in their little green van to take my brothers and I back to their home until my Mum recovered.

I am taking part because I would like to raise some money to help Encephelitis find the cure to stop other people dying from this terrible disease.

Please help and if you can please can you sponsor me or go on http://www.justgiving.com/bills-blondes
