Well folks we made it! We walked all 20 miles in glorious sunshine and had a great time along the way. The day was very hot but we were quite sensible and drank litres of water. The scenery was unbelievable, the grounds at Blenheim Palace lovely and the sight of Blenheim Palace itself a welcome sight towards the end. Jenny said that her highlight was all the free food and eating constantly; Mary managed to chat for 20 mile; Ronnie did some house-hunting for Mary in the pretty villages, and Karen looked like our own personal trainer having warmed up with the 26 mile Moonwalk only the week before!

 

Thank you all so much for your kind sponsorship. Just reading the Pink Ribbon messages on the walk reminded us what a worthy cause this is... and close to us all in one way or another.
