Our hair is on, the time is right, It's time for you, for you to give some cash!
'Cause people are coming, everyone's trying, Trying to see us shaving our heads,
When they're going for... going for... BALD!
Maria Davey, Eoin O’Hagan, Matt Atkinson & Graeme Atkinson will be participating in GOING FOR BALD! Charity head & face shave on July the 24th 2010 in aid of The Anthony Nolan Trust. Maria, Matt & Graeme will be egg-headed for money and Eoin will shave off his big bushy beard for the first time in over 20 YEARS!!!
BUT THEY’RE NOT DOING IT FOR FUN, OH NO NO NO. THEY WANT YOUR CASH!!!!

The 21st of December 2009 was an ordinary day to begin with. I was at at work, grumbling about the most mundane of annoyances when I received a phonecall that floored me more than anything I can remember. My wife said three simple words, used a thousand times over and causing no harm to anyone "Your Mum has...". This was followed by that sucker-punch word "...Leukemia".
Treatment began immediately and 5 months & several goes at chaemotherapy later, my Mum Pat Atkinson received a vital bone marrow transplant and is well on the way to recovery. The bone marrow donation was a perfect match for Mum but was not to be found in the UK. A man in Germany provided the vital donation and could not have been found without organisations like The Anthony Nolan Trust.
The Anthony Nolan Trust not only maintain a UK register but liase with similar agencies in the UK and around the world to ensure that, where possible, a suitable donor can be matched with a patient in desperate need of help. They are also a world leader in the field of tissue type analysis and tissue transplant technology.
The Anthony Nolan Trust is an independent charity, so it continually relies of financial support from individuals and organisations to carry out its lifesaving work.
