BUPA Great North Run 2008 · 5 October 2008 ·

Every day, people living with terminal illness are given the choice to stay at home by Helen's Trust. By responding to the needs of individuals and their families we help people stay at home, bringing comfort and support at the end of their lives.

Story

Helen’s Trust 2008 Great North Run Challenge.

On the 6th October 2008 the 6 members of The Helen’s Trust ‘GoldenGaters’ running team will cross the Tyne Bridge from the centre of Newcastle on Tyne on their way to South Shields some 13.1 miles away.

The Great North Run is the world’s largest half marathon attracting more than 50,000 runners.

Each team member will individually be raising sponsorship from family and friends in aid of Helen’s Trust. The team however, is hoping the supporters and friends of Helen’s Trust will share their pain through sponsoring them collectively.
