Story
Hello lovely people,
Thank you for visiting my justgiving page.
Due to a lapse in judgement last year, I decided to follow in the footsteps of my champion housemate and apply to run the marathon. Lucky me (or not, you judge) I got a ballot place and now here I am training to run a casual 26.2 miles on Sunday 24 April 2016.
I'm quite terrified but focusing on everything I can eat along the way without getting fat - winning. To motivate me during the tough runs and various aches and pains I am fundraising for a charity that inspires me everyday, and that's where you come in.
As many of you know, I have been working for the charity for nearly two years now and have been privileged to meet many of our patients and their families. I never cease to be amazed at the courage and determination they show in very difficult and challenging situations and it made me think if they can do that, then I can do this.
So now I really need your help. Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) is one of the world's leading paediatric hospitals and treats patients from across the UK. The money raised from this run will help GOSH make a real difference to patients and families, helping them rebuild and refurbish the hospital, fund research into better treatments, and provide up-to-date equipment and vital support services for families.
So please, help me help them and donate as much as you can.
THANK YOU.
