The Gorilla Organization works to protect the endangered mountain gorilla in its native habitat. It also works to ensure that local people benefit from their unique natural heritage. The Organization, founded by the late Dian Fossey who lived with the gorillas, is involved in education, conservation and public awareness.

My story

Oh my days!

Not content with doing the Triathlon, i have decided to "up the stakes" as it were and take part in a truly challenging event - that's right, i have to run 7km around London in a Gorilla costume.

"A Gorilla costume? Are you mad?" i hear you say. Well, partly yes, and also i'll never have to but a fancy dress costume again as i get to keep the suit after!!

The Great Gorilla Run takes place on Sunday 19th September, and it gives people an opportunity to raise funds for the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, the international charity that's working to save the world's last remaining mountain gorillas.

So come on, be a "top banana" and show me the money!!!!!
