Hello to you all,
I will start off with a big thank you for coming this far for me and with me on this journey for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
So now onto what I am doing and why I have decided to do it........... With a lot of training starting on the treadmill with an incline, moving onto hills then onto mountains, in September 2011 I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest peak in Africa and in the process raising as much money as I possibly can for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Why this hospital I hear you say?
We all know of the amazing work this hospital carries out on a daily basis saving childrens lives and no one knows this better than my family and I. When I was 11 months old I needed open heart surgery to repair the hole in my heart and thankfully Great Ormond Street Hospital was there to carry out this life saving operation because without it I would not have lived to see my first birthday. The care and experience of the staff and the unique medical equipment they offered was truely remarkable.
Even though no amount of money will ever be enough to thank this hospital for saving my life I am determined to raise money to help them continue to save many more children's lives just like mine.
"I would appreciate it if you could help me to achieve my ambition, so that Great Ormond Street Hospital can continue their mission, to help enhance and save the lives of the children who stay, just like they did when they saved my life that day."

Loads of Love
