Well folks, the challenge is to ride our Motorbikes from John O'Groats to Lands End (End to End) and cover 1000 miles in one go within 24Hrs. (Some people think this sounds easy, however not so, especially when your Butt is screaming at you to stop!!!) The group of riders consists of myself and a few others from the Lisburn IAM (Institute of Advanced Motoring) Motorbike group in Northern Ireland.

As part of the ride, I will try to qualify for the "Iron Butt" UK’s “End to End” certificate which is part of a long distance riding organisation which set & ride various long distance challenges within set time limits. Requirements of this are that I gain start & finish witnesses and keep fuel stop receipts to send for verification as proof of completing the full ride.

We will start the ride down to Lands End on Fri 3rd July early morning and aim to arrive within 24hrs at Lands End.

All Money raised is going to the UCAN charity which is helping my Dad deal with Advanced Prostate cancer and is detailed over there on the left. As an extra Bonus the company I work for (BP) will also match the amount that I manage to raise.

Go on, spare a wee bit and help out a great cause. (Sponsor me per mile maybe? or any donation will be received gladly)

**For all the blokes who are reading this have a look at UCAN's website and get yourself some info on the subject.                    https://www.charttrials.abdn.ac.uk/ucan/manage/menu/Home/
