DISASTER 

Unfortunately I’m going to have to defer to next year’s marathon.  I have twisted my Knee very badly and I’m not able to run. All the donations so far have all gone straight to the charity and will count against my total next year. 

As you can imagine I’m totally gutted and very disappointed with myself. I will be resting my knee until it heals and will begin running again once it has healed.

Thank you again for all the donations, you have been most generous and supportive.

 

I WILL be running next year after a proper build up to the marathon in 2010.

Hi, thanks for coming to look at my fund raising page.
I'm doing the London Flora Marathon in April 2009 and I'm really excited about it and feel I will benefit so much from the training and social aspects.
Apart from that I'm donating everything I raise to RNID, which is a charity for deaf people and those that suffer from Tinnitus.  As you may or may not know I've been suffering from both these conditions for nearly 4 years and I do not feel the government does not do enough in terms of research to find a cure for Tinnitus, especially as we will all suffer from deafness and Tinnitus in our later stages of our life.

...Can you imaging a life where I wouldn't have to ask you to repeat yourself five bleeding times every time you speak to me? Utter bliss.

So forget the credit crunch and please sponsor me to run the 26.2 miles round our beloved London town.
