Picture - Graham (49) the good looking chap on the right hand side of the picture (his words) with John (38) deciding which training route to take.  We both decided to run this year Flora London Marathon on Sunday 13th April together to raise funds for NCH (National Children's Homes) and the good work it carries out across the UK.

Graham and John are employed by VocaLink based in Rickmansworth.  John's role is Operational Finance support for Clear & Settle and Graham is the on site Maintenance Engineer for Corporate Facilities.

As a teenager Graham lived in a home run by NCH at St Leonards-on-sea, East Sussex which gave him a place to live and enabled him to complete his secondary education.  "It is closed down now, but I have fond memories of that place, they were very supportive.  I see this as an opportunity to say a big thanks and hopefully raise some much needed funds'.  

John's son James has a severe developmental condition which means that although he is aged 12, he has a mental age of 2 years.  For the past 7 years James has been going to Shortbreaks @ Adrian Road which is a lovely bungalow based in Abbots Langley (run by NCH) where he really enjoys himself.  This gives John and his wife Debbie the chance to spend time with their other two children doing things which other families may just take for granted (cinema etc.).  This is a small way of saying "Thank You".
