Hi everyone, Graham here, thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
From 20th April to 7th May I am walking the Macmillan Way (290 miles from Boston in Lincolnshire to Abbotsbury in Dorset) in memory of my wife Julie. Julie died from terminal kidney cancer in November 2006. During the last six months of her life, Julie and I received great support from her Macmillan nurse. So she fully approved of my plan to walk the Macmillan Way in her memory and raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, and also Duchess of Kent House where she died.
We were both keen walkers so when we visited Abbotsbury back in July I made a promise to Julie that I'd do this walk. And I know Julie will be walking with me in spirit, helping raise this target. You can also help to spur me on by contributing. Read more about the walk at www.walkforjulie.org.uk
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Macmillan Cancer Support will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now! And come and walk with me some of the way if you wish, to encourage my weary legs.
Many thanks for your support.
Update 19th April 2007. Just about to head up to Boston to start walking tomorrow. Thanks for all your donations here and on www.justgiving.com/walkforjulie for Duchess of Kent House Trust. I hope to see some of you on route. Send me encouraging texts and I'll talk to you when I'm back.

Update 8th May 2007
I'm back and I've done it - completed the 290 miles coast to coast. I've met lots of you on route and the amount of money coming in looks like being over £5,000 for both charities, thanks to you all

Update 21st May
