Hey Everyone,

A few months ago our fellow block 8 housemate, Andrew Gibson, or Gibbo as he is known to most of his friends, was involved in a serious car crash only a few weeks into his much anticipated Dubai work placement (which we heard so much about in the months running up to it). He is still in a critical condition 3 months on and has only recently been flown back to England for treatment. While his travel insurance has so far covered his medical fees, his rehabilitation is not. Gibbo is at the start of a long and expensive road to recovery, and we, along with many others at Lougborough, are going to be raising funds so that we can give him and his family all the help we can. 

Gibbo often provided our block last year with endless entertainment, whether it be from his loud outbursts, early morning 'woops!' and 'FIRST TEAM BABBYY YEAAHH!'s much to Tilda's amusment living in the room beneath him or his 'quiet nights in' with a cheeky dvd and some jellies! We miss his quirky Gibboisms!

So, we've decided to dust off the trainers (or actually buy some!) and help his friends and family to raise money, by...wait for it...thats right we're actually RUNNING a mile! So please sponser us to help our friend recover, so Gibbo can get back to doing what he does best-  'bossing it!' and 'chopping birds!' (standard Gibbo!).
