Story

Gresham Computing will once again be sending a team to take part in the Wessex Heartbeat Cycle Challenge.  This years Challenge will see Glen Street, Pete Plaisted, Dave Trigwell and Phil Wickes join a number of other teams, attempting to cycle in relay, over 500 miles in just three days through the French countryside to Burgundy.  Day 1 will take the teams South from Falaise to the finish across the River Loire at La Pommeraye.  Day 2 heads East, through the vineyards South of Saumur, along the banks of the River Indre, through the Sologne region, and finishing at Nouan-Le-Fuzelier.  Finally day 3, heads East and into the Morvan National Park.  Known in the Burgundy region as "Little Switzerland",  this day will test the legs with long climbs and descents, before reaching th final destination, the centre of the Burgundy region - Beaune.

The team has guaranteed to raise £1000.  50% of which will go to our nominated Charity (The Rainbow Centre), and 50% to the Wessex Heartbeat Charity.  100% of what is pledged by our sponsors will go to Charity.  The team members each pay an entry fee to cover travel and accommodation.

Oh - and just for a bit of a laugh - would you believe - we're going to dress as pirates !!
