The Scottish 60 Mile Bike Ride - In aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page...We put on our lycra and cushioned seats for the Glasgow to Edinburgh bike ride, all sixty miles of it! Over fifty cyclists took part, and it took us just under eight hours, including a break after thirty miles...
The route is the equivilant of two marathons back to back, plus a 10k on top! And boy are we feeling it now!
The event has been set up, and run by Sandy, a guide dog owner called from Scotland, and this is the fifth year of the event. Check out www.sandmil.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk for more information. All money raised from the event will go directly to the work that Guide Dogs do with thousands of blind and partially sighted people in the UK. For more information on, go to www.guidedogs.org.uk
Please be really generous and sponsor us! Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Guide Dogs will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. The more you donate, the more training we will do!
Many thanks for your support.
