Story
Thanks for taking the Link,
We've decided to do the trip in support of a very worthy charity the Lymphoma Association. Those of you from Harpenden will know its the charity that Glyn and his family support in memory of Darren Griffiths.
Guy and Trev have been busy learning to ride unicycles since November, taking to the sea front through rain, snow and gales. We've achieved a decent standard our longest ride so far 10miles. I've got to admit that it's been pretty tough going and 50 miles is going to be hard, but then if it wasn't hard everyone would be doing it! I hope everyone will be very generous and beat our target of £1000.
Some of you may know we intended to do the London to Brighton back in June, however we weren't allowed due to health and safety. So we're doing it on September 11th in Tiverton. It will take place on the Great Western canal path. The route is 11 miles so it will involve nearly 5 trips up and back! If you are in the area on the day we would like some support!! We'll be there from pretty early in the morning to get the 50 miles in!
A little addition, Dave will be joining us on the day, however, he will be doing the 50 miles in a kayak!! the more the merrier, anyone got a pogo stick?!?
