I have decided to set myself a personal challenge this year in the form of going on a 5-day, 50km trek in Peru to raise money for a charity (Great Ormond Street Hospital). For those of you who don't know, it's a children's hospital in London, and the monies raised on behalf of this Charity as a result of this trek will go towards funding a state-of-the-art cardiac theatre in the new heart and lung centre for children.

Although the trek seems quite daunting (to me!), even more so is the challenge to raise at least £2 950. I really need your help and sponsership to reach this goal - your support will be much appreciated!
