Story
In January this year, a beautiful little girl named Maude died in her sleep during her afternoon nap. She was only 2 years old. She was a victim of the insidious killer that is SIDS - Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, or cot death.
On Saturday May 12th 2007, parents and children all over the UK will walk a Mile for Maude. Carrying pink balloons, we will remember Maude and celebrate her life - and the lives of all other children lost to SIDS, as we raise money for the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID).
Hannah will be doing the walk with her mum, although we're not optimistic she'll be walking by then! She'll probably ride her little truck some of the way, or go in her pushchair! A mile doesn't seem very far, but it's quite a long way for most toddlers.
