Hello there!

Thanks for visting my fundraising page!  So here's the deal...I am planning on doing a charity hitchhike this Easter all the way from the mighty Toon, through the UK and down through France and Spain all the way to Morocco.  Hopefully I will do the hitch in a total of 5/6 days, and am travelling with my good pal Tom as seen in my picture.  As you can also see in the picture, I am likely to be spending much of my time looking after him...I feel this alone is a reason to sponsor me!

The money you donate is going to a charity called Link Community Development.  This really is such a worthwhile cause, and your donations go into helping children in poverty in countries such as Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi and Uganda.  Here is a link to their website if you want to have a look :

I really would appreciate any donations you can make...hitchhiking can be seen as a bit risky but you would hardly sponsor me if i flew there would you?! If you are really interested you will be able to track my progress (or lack of) on a special website, as I try and make my way to Morocco!  To my student friends...I know you are likely to be even more skint after the xmas and new year festivities, but just think of that lovely loan, it's there for a reason isn't it?!
