Story
This charity fund specialises in the research for patients under-going head/neck operations whether it major or minor surgery, which is headed by "Dr Keith Jones".
Please take a few minutes of your time to read the following blog from Chris Harrell;
"Early March 2004, I went to my local doctors for a check up on my sore throat, only to find out that I had a Tumour in my neck, pushing on my voice box and tangled within my nerves. After a scan early May, I was informed an operation was needed to remove it.
On the 14th June 2004, I was admitted to Derby Royal Infirmary for my operation. I was under the knife for 18 hours and the operation went successfully after removing a tumour the same size as a tennis-ball from my neck, which was fortunataly benign.
I am doing this Half Marathon with my brother 'Kevin Harrell' to raise money for the Maxillofacial Research Fund headed by Dr Keith Jones whom with their excellent work made the scaring minimal and made me comfortable whilst being in their care
Please help me and my brother to raise money for this charity and help others that require this treatment, Thank You."
